πŸ’‘Solution : ENTRI

What is ENTRI ?

Entri is a non-custodian wallet app that utilizes NFTs to generate tickets and vouchers. Entri enables any NFT, to be recognized as tickets for any event. Any NFT project could be a part of any event, and any event could embrace any NFT community to be a part of their event.

ENTRI could detect any event that enables a particular NFT in your possession to act as a ticket to that event. Not only that, ENTRI also detects any NFT in your possession that could act as a ticket for a particular event. Of course, the event must be registered and published on the ENTRI platform first.

Combining Web 3 and Web 2 Solution

We are aware that our solution might not fully decentralized as many people hope. The wallet itself in ENTRI is non-custodial because we believe wholeheartedly in the spirit of Web 3. But we also have consideration that combining web 3 and web 2 solutions might be the best approach for some use cases. One of them is the ticketing system use case that ENTRI tries to disrupt and make better. For example, the safety feature of the dynamic QR system (that we embed in ENTRI to prevent scams and double entry) would be easier to manage and cheaper if we put the system in the Web 2 infrastructure. Imagine if we put it on the blockchain, every 15 seconds when the QR changes, the users have to pay for its gas fees. It is very inconvenient for sure.

It does not necessarily always have to be a war between those two worlds, because in a world full of challenges today there's something that might be suitable (or not) with the approach of a fully decentralized system. We at ENTRI, make the most out of it and try to make an impact by combining the convenience of web 2 and the security, reliability and transparency of web 3.
